We went there for dinner last night. We will not go back and we do not recommend the place. The setting and ambiance are ok but nothing special. The service is also ok but nothing special. The weakest point, unfortunately, is the food. We went for a small 5 people birthday party. As an appetizer, 3 of us ordered the agnolotti stuffed with blue cheese and mushrooms. The agnolotti (which are basically Italian dumpling and should have a very thin dough) were not even close to anything that Italians would serve on their table. They looked and tasted like steamed dumpling served in a cheap Chinese restaurant. The blue cheese was nowhere to be seen and the mushrooms were under cooked. As main course, I ordered the seared tuna. I was told it was sushi grade and I asked for it rare. Bad idea! It was served fridge-cold. The roasted vegetables that came with it were covered with garlic so there was no flavor. I decided not to send it back because we had been already complaining among each other about the bad appetizers and I did not want to spoil the evening. As we discussed later, my husband's spaghetti with clams and one of my friend's salmon were also mediocre. For dessert, I ordered the "mascarpone cheesecake" and two of my friends ordered the creme brulee. The creme brulee was ok but my mascarpone cheesecake was completely tasteless. It was mainly ricotta cheese topped with a thin crust of egg. My friends tasted it and we all agreed. Finally, the decaff coffee was also rather bad. The only decent thing in the dinner (especially for the price) was the Italian wine "Brunello." At $75 per caraff it better be! Overall, we left very disappointed. Unfortunately, it was not over. I spent most of the night in the bathroom. Not pleasant. I am not sure whether it was the tuna or the coffee. As far as I know the others in my party were ok. Needless to say, we will not go back and we strongly suggest you try a different restaurant!
