A very nice Afghan lamb dish. The onions are notable because they have such a mild and refreshing taste that it's fun to eat a lot of them along with a bite of the very flavorful lamb.

Perhaps my favorite Afghan dish anywhere. I like getting the ground beef (Shami) and meatball (Kofta) options at the same time which give an interesting contrast in the range of Afghan spices for beef. Both are extremely flavorful in quite different ways. The dish is mild but comes with a few fresh (extremely hot) peppers so you can season the hottness to your taste. It's a huge meal, clearly designed to be shared family style.

A fascinating Afghan bread (it really has nothing to do with pasta or pastries despite what the menu says) - made extremely flavorful with the leeks and cilantro and potatoes cooked in the middle.

The half-order that's available makes a great appetizer.
