Mimi's is the best for Blue Cheese Walnut salad. Yes, the grilled chicken is good on it too. Haystack Chicken Salad 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 6 cups shredded Romaine lettuce ½ cup carrots, julienned ½ cup corn 1 tomato, seeded and diced ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese Sweet & spicy pecans (recipe follows) Tortilla chips, broken into pieces Ranch dressing For the pecans Nonstick vegetable oil spray 3 tbsp light corn syrup 1½ tbsp sugar ¾ tsp salt ¼ tsp (generous) freshly ground black pepper ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper 1½ C pecan pieces Preheat oven to 325°F. Spray baking sheet with nonstick spray. Combine corn syrup and next 4 ingredients in large bowl. Stir to blend. Add pecans; stir gently to coat. Transfer to baking sheet. Place large piece of foil on work surface. Bake pecans 5 minutes. Using fork, stir pecans to coat with melted spice mixture. Continue baking until pecans are golden and coating bubbles, about 10 minutes. Transfer to foil. Working quickly, separate nuts with fork. Cool. Season the chicken and grill until cooked through. Toss together the lettuce, vegetables, cheese and ranch dressing. Top with diced grilled chicken, pecans and tortilla pieces. Serve immediately.

I ordered form the Sugar Land outback Steakhouse prime rib. I ordered it medium for pick up toeat am my house. When I got home I opened my box and found a giant piece of raw meat! when I took it back, the manager claimed that it had been slow roasted and that it was cooked!!!!!!! this slab of UNCOOKED meat was bright red, even the edges were red, not pink in the middle or even red in the middle, it was completely red and dripping in blood. It wasn't even seasoned. it looked like meat you would get from the butcher. I kid you not, I cook all the time. I actually get my meat from a butcher, I slow roast meat all the time. He honestly expected me to believe this bleeding meat was cooked! then he offered to sear it for me. that was it.I will never eat at outback again. I was very offended that he considered me that stupid just to save face. in my mind, outback is just a cooperation of liars to me. I wonder how they would like to know that. I would suggest next time you order your food to go from outback steakhouse, check it before you leave. and if those managers ever get to hear about this, it was raw, don't assume your customers are stupid or don't cook just because they order out for valentines.

I know they have hot sauce in it too.... it's the second half of the vinegary-spicy flavour. When I said to a waiter that it didn't taste the same as usual, he brought out a bowl of hot sauce and said they had reduced the amount they put in the recipe. Delicious garlicky ceasar dressing, I recommend a breath mint after this salad. The flatbread is always soft and warm, I use mine as a scoop for the salad. I secretly wish they gave more flat bread with the salad. I opt for no onions and I shake a little black pepper on mine just before I mix in the dressing. It's my favorite thing to order on the menu.

How to make it: Take one pizza crust, or fresh dough (panera used a hybrid white whole wheat dough), LIGHTLY coat with a layer of garlic paste, poke holes in it to prevent bubbles Add a cup of pre-cooked chicken covered with BBQ sauce (I think the closest in taste was Red Eye.. or Red Horn BBQ sauce) Add 4 oz of mozzarella cheese, sliced, as well as a half cup of shredded fontina cheese. Add the caramelized onions (chop onions up, marinate with balsamic vinaigrette dressing [which you can get from Panera], bake in oven until soft), approximately 8 rings, or to taste. Sprinkle freshly cut cilantro across the pizza, bake at (approximately) 475 for 5-7 minutes, TOP RACK. It's been a while since I worked at a Panera, but I'm positive with a little kitchen know-how and the above, you can recreate this.

I have to agree. They really do a nice job. A sign inside the cafe says that they will be Kosher certified starting Oct 14. That will be great for the entire community Kosher, non-kosher, Vegans and non Vegans...essentially anyone and everyone. The staff is very nice as I asked lots of questions. I will definitely support this healthy alternative establishment. There is a rumor that they are opening in Clayton next to the Ritz Carlton. Anyone know about this?
