I hate the new version. I tried it right after they switched, and was SO disappointed. I asked the waiter, and they said that the reason they switched was that they were having problems with the supplier. We would go 45 minutes out of our way to eat at MG because I would get a craving for the lobster ravioli (I never ordered anything else). Since trying the new version, we haven't been back, and probably won't.

I completely agree. Used to be my favorite all time dish - tried the new recipe and thought it was disgusting. Couldn't even eat it really....haven't been back to MG since.

The picture needs to be changed on this as well. This is still the old GOOD version. The new version doesn't look like this.

Every time I went to Macaroni Grill (at least once a month) I would have the lobster ravoli. Normally I would not even look at the menu to order I went in right after the menu was changed and my boyfriend noticed it said new recipe. He told me to go ahead and try it. I ate half of the meal thinking that it tasting so horrible was in my mind because of the change. Finally I could not eat anymore. My boyfriend took one bite and said how awful it was. The manager came by and told me it was a healthier version. I was so disappointed that I have not been back since. I do not need a healthier version, I exercise and am fit. I go out to eat to enjoy a good meal. I am missing my good meal....please bring it back.

I loved the old version as well. I complained via email and they sent me a coupon saying that this was a healthier alternative. Because god knows everyone goes out to eat for thier health. The new recipe is crap! Bring back the old recipe your rat bastards! (Courtesy of Pa!)

I used to go to Macaroni Grill solely for the lobster ravioli. I was also surprised by how god awful the new version was, and I will no longer be frequenting the restaurant. It's a shame.

I used to love it. The new stuff is absolutely AWFUL. Complained to corporate and was pretty much told to suck it.

I totally agree about the new version. It is terrible. Went there last night to treat myself for my birthday and was surprised when I got the plate. The taste was even worse. I miss the old recipe, it was the best.

Yeah, just looking at the picture of the old lobster ravioli and thinking about how I lost my money's worth on the new version makes me mad!!! They ddin't even have much sauce to go with the ravioli. Usually with the old receipe I'd sop up the sauce with my bread!! Bring the OLD VERSION BACK!!!!

I totally agree! The new lobster ravioli recipe is terrible when compared to the old recipe. The best we can do is inundate the macaroni grill website with complaints.

I have tried just about everything on the menu and when I tried the Lobster Ravioli I never ate anything else. Now they have gone and replaced it with another recipe and I no longer have a favorite B-Day place to eat.

By far, the BEST dish I have EVER eaten. I cannot get this out of my head. If possible I swear I would eat it everyday!

Best dish I've ever had!!

Thisis by far the best dish I have ever had. When the server initially placed it in front of me, I thought it would not be enough to satisfy my hearty appetite. Boy was I wrong. I had enough left to take to work the following day. I recommend this dish to everyone who goes there and have even told my friends to go there simply for the Lobster Ravioli. The reasonable price was unbelievable. You have definitely won a lifetime customer.
